INGM10-Material Planner

Functions / Tasks:                                            

•  First line of Contact for all of Customers and Suppliers

 

 

       

 

 

 

•  Responsible for review purposes for budgetary targets affecting the bottom line financials.

 

   

 

 

•  Responsible for Shift/Day closing process.

 

             

 

 

•  Assist with making adjustments to inventory on a weekly basis.

 

             

 

•  Run SAP MRP Weekly, process and shipment of customer orders for timely delivery to satisfy customer requirements.  Maintain information in SAP with part status and classifications. 

•  Responsible for Physical Inventory of assigned parts and expected to participate in the Inventory process, which includes physical inventory and cycle counting of RAW materials and Finished Goods.  

•  Will be expected to be involved in the end of month closing process.

 

         

 

•  Send out monthly supplier ratings, track all expedites for customers and suppliers, measure on time deliveries for suppliers and customers.

 

•  Review material usage variance, price, days of stock (raw materials, work in process, finish goods) and delivery performance.  

•  Coordinate all Production Schedules with production scheduler, inbound raw materials and outbound shipments to customers, ensuring production requirements are not jeopardized.

•  Work closely with customers; make decisions with issues related to Production requirements with little or no supervision

                                                    ACADEMIC EDUCATION
(minimum / desirable) High School Diploma or GED PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
(minimum / desirable) 2 years of experience in material coordinator or planner role. PERSONAL ABILITIES Technical capacity, problem solving/analytical, communication proficiency, time management, collaboration, performance management, team work, leadership, ability to multitask.
