We are currently looking for an Infusion Care Nurse (RN) to join our team. The position would be responsible for providing care and case management of home infusion patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
• Provides nursing care and treatment and case management of home infusion patients in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment, agency guidelines, regulatory and accreditation standards
• Provides appropriate education and instruction for patients and caregivers to safely administer care at home
• Provides guidance to related health care staff as needed
• Documents clinical and progress notes in accordance with agency policies
• Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications

• RN license required with BSN, CRNI, OCN, PICC certification preferred
• 1-2 years of IV therapy or ICU, ER or oncology experience
• Working knowledge of infusion competency, venipuncture, infusion lines, ports, pumps and home nursing
• Strong computer skills  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate care within the disciplines
• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
