Infrastructure Project Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities:Project Planning and Initiation: Lead the initiation and planning phases of infrastructure projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.Resource Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to allocate resources, assign tasks, and manage dependencies. Monitor resource utilization and productivity to ensure optimal project performance.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk management plans and contingency strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project success.Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial constraints. Monitor project financial performance and implement cost-saving measures as needed.Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, clients, and vendors. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators. Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations to ensure alignment with project goals.Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to validate compliance with specifications and requirements.Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively by assessing impacts, evaluating alternatives, and obtaining necessary approvals. Implement change control processes to minimize disruptions and maintain project integrity.Project Closure and Documentation: Lead the project closure process, including finalizing deliverables, obtaining client acceptance, and conducting post-implementation reviews. Document lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for future projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, data center migrations, cloud migrations, or hardware/software deployments.Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, meeting project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Microsoft Project or similar software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and implement solutions.Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, architectures, and best practices is desirable.
