THE WORK:
- You'll provides strategic oversight and manage scheduling and coordination for F&E (Furniture & Equipment) deliveries, installations, and project close-outs for K–12 schools.
- You'll coordinate with vendors, clients, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of delivery and installation before school occupancy.
- You'll collaborate with the Planning Lead to define project logistics, budget estimates, schedules, and delivery/installation requirements.
- You'll manage the full logistics scope across all project phases, maintaining alignment with teams, clients, and vendors.
- You'll monitor labor budgets and schedules, adjusting plans as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
- You'll maintain and process all documentation related to delivery and installation, ensuring accurate records and close-out procedures.
- You'll oversee and follow up on punch-list items to ensure all post-installation issues are addressed.
- You'll communicate with school leadership and project managers to assess site readiness for delivery and installation.
- You'll schedule delivery appointments with vendors and manages site logistics such as staging and storage.
- You'll conduct site walks with stakeholders to prepare for upcoming delivery and installation activities.
- You'll verify scope completion and ensures client satisfaction by confirming operational readiness of sites.
- You'll coordinate the removal and disposal of existing furniture, including obtaining quotes and managing payment and close-out.
- You'll provide regular project updates to leads and stakeholders, collaborates with various district departments, and manage PO delivery dates and payments.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree preferably in interior design, interior architecture or architecture or any related field, OR
- Candidates without the required degree must have additional 2 years’ experience to compensate for the education requirements
- Minimum six (6) years full-time paid professional experience in move and relocation management, project management coordination, or furniture and equipment (F&E) coordination.
- Experience with project analysis, project management and reporting is required
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in facility project management or project coordination is preferred
- Experience working in a public agency or school construction or modernization is preferred
