The IT Project Manager will oversee all aspects of corporate projects and leverage project management skills to work with business leaders, business analysts, and technical expert resources to coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope, while ensuring a high level of communication is given to senior leadership with status updates.

Essential Duties and Functions include the following:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Work with management teams to ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) on development efforts prior to launch to identify any potential gaps in functionality and usability
  • Educating, coaching, and mentoring organizational staff and leaders on project and portfolio management concepts
  • This position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years as a Project Manager
  • Formal training and/or certification in project management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional work teams toward task completion, including effective leadership and analytical skills
