Information Technology Internship

The Information Technology Intern will serve our HTPG Division, located in Scottsboro, Alabama.

• Responsible for local computer operating system support, installation and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for installation and troubleshooting of applications, including MS Office Suite.
• Provide direct support for local computer peripherals such as printers and scanners.

• Basic computer skills (PowerPoint and Microsoft Word/Excel).
• Skills in and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good people skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting, configuring static IP addresses and understanding basic computer network troubleshooting.
• Ability to work well with others in a team oriented development environment.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Must be self-motivated.

HOW TO STAND OUT:

• Ability to recognize areas for improvement.
• Take initiative for projects, and self-improvement. 
• Basic knowledge of Windows servers
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook email client
