Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs that are critical to keeping equipment running properly and safely.

• Able to work safely, follow LOTO, perform hazard identification, and conform to OSHA standards
• Perform necessary plant, building, and ground maintenance to include implementing, repairing, rebuilding, or modifying necessary equipment.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting capabilities.
• Complete and accurate reporting of work orders.
• Available to work weekends and off-shift
• Autonomous work with little supervision
• Works within an environment focused on the reduction of unplanned downtime.
• Works collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure the accomplishment of overall plant objectives
• Applies lean manufacturing tools & principles in maintenance activities
• Performs autonomous care and housekeeping
• Works within scheduling requirements

 

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements include but are not limited to: Minimum of 2-3 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience. Ability to weld, repair, and fabricate small items: i.e., carts, tables, shelves, and basic stands, etc.

• Must possess excellent complement of maintenance hand tools
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must have a good attendance record
• Must be flexible to work different hours/shifts as required
• Solid verbal and written communication skills'
