Overview

Primary job duties will include Pre-Work Screens/Physicals for Occ Med patients and staffing the DMH Wellness Center until next year when it closes. Also works with both PT patients and Cardiac Rehab patients (once moved to the Parkway campus).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Provide on-site first aid, exercise, stretching and other un-skilled modalities to workers with light work-related pain.

Appropriately refer workers with more moderate pain and/or injury, or who do not respond to any treatment, to Decatur Occupational Medicine for further medical examination and treatment.

Work with Business Development, Director of Rehab Services, and other designated parties to develop additional opportunities with on-site services.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:  Those obtained through the completing of the appropriate degree.

Education:  Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology or similar degree. BLS certification.

Experience: That obtained through the attaining of the above degree. Work experience in Industrial Rehab preferred.
