Position Overview

Shaw Industries is searching for an Industrial Engineering Clerk to provide administrative support for the operations of the in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:  

• Assist in Budget Preparation as required by Plant IE or PIM. 

• Accurately prepare and distribute Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports. 

• Produce all reports as needed ie: accounting, raw usage, and production. 

• Participate in inventories and investigate inventory discrepancies.

• Reconcile all inventories on weekly and monthly basis as needed

• Perform duties as the Records Management Clerk who is responsible for maintaining box records and providing access to inactive records.

• Maintain Records Retention Room Perform the plant waste management duties.

• Perform receipts in PeopleSoft.

• Be knowledgeable of all manufacturing processes within the plant.

• Participate and take minutes in the Ergonomics Committee and PI Committee.

• Assist with MO control clerk duties and serve as backup

• Assist IE department in process improvement efforts and work measurement.

Requirements:

• Must be able to maintain confidential information and perform other job duties as needed/assigned by management.

• This position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to effectively communicate with different levels of management within the organization, both orally and in writing.

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

• Must possess an outstanding eye for numeric detail Must be experienced with MS Excel to include pivot tables, MS Word and Access.    

• MRM, Shopflex, and TMS3 Administrator

• Experience with POVA reporting is preferred

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
