Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

• Support process improvement projects focused on productivity.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning projects.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and standardization
• Create and maintain documentation such as process maps and standard work instructions

What You Will Learn:

• Application of industrial engineering principles in a real-world production environment.
• Process optimization techniques and tools such as 5S, Kaizen and value stream mapping
• Networking opportunities through exposure to cross-functional team members and leaders within our organization.
• Professional development in communication, teamwork, and leadership within a corporate setting.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Minitab, SQL, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Coursework or project experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
