(IND) SOFTWARE ENGINEER III, INFORMATION SECURITY

Position Summary...

The Information Security team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. The Security Engineering Development team delivers security solution, Automation, secure workflows, data-driven services to enable scalable, improved security posture for Walmart. Security Engineering Development team is looking for a Software engineer - III, who has a passion for developing products and services for our Security Services, Automation, Azure, GCP and On-Prem cloud. Ideal candidates should have strong background in technology and security awareness. Some of the core technology experiences that are desirable for this role would be to have a good UI development experience, backend technology including integration with backend REST APIs.

Security Engineering Development team is looking for a Software engineer - III, who has a passion for developing products and services for our security solutions and automation along with cloud area in Azure, GCP and On-Prem. Ideal candidates should have strong background in technology and security awareness. Some of the core technology experiences that are desirable for this role would be to have a good UI development experience, backend technologies including integration with backend REST APIs

 What you'll do :

• Develop solutions, frameworks, and tools for Security Services and cloud area including Azure, GCP and on- prem in the enterprise.
• You will work with security engineers, external teams, and partners in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements.
• Use your knowledge of applicable UI technology stacks and backend platforms to automate cloud services.
• You’ll work to design and architect cloud solutions to remove performance impacting barriers and increasing efficiency of our automation operations. You will be building services, tools, portals, backend REST APIs and Integrating with Rest APIs and apply your knowledge as part of your solutions.
• Create proof of concepts, prototyping and experimentation.

 

What you'll bring:

• As a full stack engineer, experience in building scalable, resilient, secure enterprise services application platforms.
• Working experience in programming language such as React, JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such Node, React, Java, Spring-boot framework, SQL, NoSQL databases etc.
• Working experience in Cloud solutions and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages or technologies
• Flexibility in adopting to new areas of work, domain and technical competencies.
• Awareness about cloud domain, security services etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
