Job DetailsJob Location: Emerald Administration - Boise, ID 83704Position Type: Full-timeEducation Level: CPCJob Shift: DaytimeWe are looking for a Medical Coder to support our Business Office! You must either be a CPC or be able to obtain your full CPC within 6 months of start date.

Purpose

This position will support our Business Office with inpatient, outpatient, Medicare and Medicare Advantage coding services. If you are looking to challenge your coding skills, this is a great opportunity for you!

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm.

QualificationsEducation


High School Diploma / GED


Licensure / Certification


CPC or the ability to get it in under 6 months
RHIT or RHIA preferred.


Experience


2 or more years of previous coding experience preferred.
Previous coding experience with Medicare and Medicare Advantage services preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Anatomy
Utilization of standard coding manuals and online resources.
