Summary: The Implementation Manager supports Account Managers, Account Executives and others with more detailed administrative tasks such as carrier and client installation paperwork, client proposals, and Renewal Finalization processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Account Manager in marketing insurance company proposal requests and preparing client proposals.
- Process group applications; calendar for receipt of policies and administrative materials.
- Process group cancellations and coverage changes.
- Create and maintain files; create revenue tags; maintain client data in Salesforce.com, which includes attaching emails as directed by Account Manager; assemble open enrollment material or new hire packets for clients.
- Design and coordinate regular and special client mailings.
- Work with group clients, client employees, insurance companies, and health services providers to resolve coverage, claims, and billing problems.
- Maintain calendar to ensure completion of pending items and to establish future timelines.
- Maintain library of life and benefits magazine publications, insurance company newsletters, legislative updates, and reference materials.
- Attend seminars and classes related to the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned and typically relies on others for direction.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint in particular), and Salesforce.com
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- HS graduate (or equivalent) required. Some client service experience preferred.
- Ability to calculate, compute, summate, and/or tabulate data and/or information.
- Ability to provide guidance, assistance, and/or interpretation to others regarding the application of procedures and standards to specific situations.
- Ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive, and/or advisory data and information..
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
