Immunization Nurse
Inova Health System’s Inova Well Clinic (Fairfax) is looking for an Immunization Nurse to join our Immunization Clinics Team. This role is PRN (seasonal).

Responsibilities:
- Conducts vaccination clinics working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provides direct nursing services to individuals and families in the clinic setting.
- Conducts nursing assessments and implements appropriate intervention.
- Follows medical orders, provides necessary follow-up care to ensure program and health department standards are met.
- Provides patient education and counseling using language and methods appropriate to the patient's level of understanding.
- Performs duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Hours: PRN (seasonal); roughly 15 clinics annually
- Location: Varies
- Education: Vocational / Technical Nursing School
- Experience: 1 year of experience in vaccine administration
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Maryland or DC
