FOR RADIOLOGY STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A RADIOLOGY PROGRAM ONLY

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Modality Lead Technologists, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Radiology. These functions include directing patient flow through the department, greeting, escorting and transporting patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room. Must be able to anticipate, initiate, and respond to the departmental and customer needs, work independently and maintain productivity and workflow. Other duties include, but are not limited to, stocking the exam rooms and supply rooms, preparing the room for the next patients arrival ​

Position Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Actively enrolled in a Radiologic Technology program- must submit current unofficial transcripts
• 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• 2 Letters of Recommendation
• Estimated Date of Registry exam highly preferred
