Produce quality needle assemblies at the rate or goal set for each line while working as a team with other operators.  Keep area and machines clean.  Complete quality checks at the frequency required.  Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.  Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.  Ability to read, write, and converse in English.  Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Schedule: 1st Shift- 8:00am- 4:00pm

 

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance 

  • Transport material between Posiflush’s two molding areas as well as the storage area 

  • Keep material cleared from auxiliary molding equipment to maintain steady flow of product 

  • Stock line with raw materials necessary to assemble product 

  • Supplement line with molded components as needed to prevent downtime 

  • Keep machinery, work area, and floors neat and orderly to comply with GMP requirements 

  • Perform daily and weekly cleanings of specific area 

  • Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required 

  • Communicate with mold technicians and line operators on changeover times 

  • Work as a team member to develop optimal task methods 

  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business 

 

Education: 

  • High School diploma/GED preferred 

  • In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required 

 

Experience:  

  • None required 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English

  • Ability to keep and maintain detailed documentation/communication - Proficient 

  • Teamwork – Proficient 

  • Organization skills - Basic 

 

PCP Level:   3
