JOB SUMMARY: Completes repairs and preventative maintenance for all heating, ventilation and cooling equipment, including lubrication, changing filters, cleaning coils and adjustment of dampers and controls. Executes boiler maintenance, including combustion monitoring, adjustment of air/fuel ratios, water treatment, inspection, calibration and repair of all equipment and controls.

Inspects, adjusts and repairs all HVAC systems and associated equipment.

Maintains preventative maintenance programs, including water treatment, in assigned facilities and completes proper documentation.

Troubleshoots and repairs temperature control systems, including Direct Digital Control and electric.

Maintains energy program as defined by HVAC department to maximize savings and comfort.

Completes work orders and requests as assigned. Maintains daily work log.

Maintains vehicle and work areas in a clean and neat condition at all times and shares in mandatory participation of the on-call for department.

Assists with light maintenance including electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Installs equipment and ductwork for modification of heating and cooling systems.

Maintains updated drawings and other documentation in assigned facilities.

- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
- One (1) year of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and building automation systems (BAS)/building management system (BMS)/direct digital control (DDC) systems experience
- Universal EPA/CFC certification within six (6) months of employment<
