HVAC Estimator

 

Location: Smithfield RI

Salary $130-150K DOE + benefits and bonuses

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for diverse HVAC projects (plan/spec and design-build)
• Lots of public works estimating
• Analyze drawings, specs, and scopes to determine materials, labor, and timelines
• Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes
• Work with project managers and leadership to support winning proposals

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in mechanical/HVAC estimating
• Pipefitting/ duct and refrigeration experience required
• Experience with commercial, municipal, and government bids
• Comfortable doing bids up to 10M
• Proficient with estimating software and takeoff tools
• Excellent attention to detail and deadline orientation
