Servicing Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, Sawyer and Washburn counties. 

Full-Time / 40 hrs/week / Benefits Eligible

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in their homes, schools, and communities. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training, you will help clients build independence, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their goals.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services
  • Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills
  • Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes
  • Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records
  • Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development
  • Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field required
  • Relevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fields
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferred
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community required
