Position Overview
The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Human Resources Representative to perform a variety of professional human resource activities for the employees of the Alton Mental Health Center located in Alton, Illinois. Prepares personnel transactions and job descriptions. Serves as facility’s benefits representative. Maintains all employee records and files. Assists in reviewing and approving all employee requests for leaves of absence. Coordinates the personnel classifications program.
Essential Functions
- Performs a variety of professional human resource activities for the employees of Alton Mental Health Center.
- Serves as facility’s benefits representative to include group insurance, retirement and deferred compensation.
- Implements the facility’s employee performance evaluation program.
- Assists in reviewing and approving all employee requests for Leaves of Absence (LOA).
