Job Description

**This is a one-year contract, hired through an external payrolling company** 

The Human Resources Operations Specialist will act as primary point of contact and support for employees and will be assisting TA and HR in different tasks. This person will also be working on different HR projects.   

What you’ll do: 
 

  • Promote positive employee relationships as primary point of contact and support for employees in providing answers to questions regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.  
  • Manage the onboarding process for all hires ensuring a positive employee experience, which includes the processing of the I-9 verification and new hire orientation. 
  • Collaborate with HR team members to identify process improvements and enhance the employee experience. 
  • Help drive a culture in line with the company’s mission, vision and values. 
  • Process HR transactions and maintain accurate employee records and files in HR systems and ensure data integrity. 
  • Assist in creating HR reports and analytics.  
  • Administer employee anniversary and reward programs.  
  • Assist the company in promoting our corporate culture by supporting the planning and execution of company meetings and events. 
  • Help drive clear communication throughout the organization. 
  • Manage the entire onboarding and off boarding process of our contingent workforce. 
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with offer letters. 
  • Manage the US HR Sharepoint. 
  • Work in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processes.  
  • Provide support in special HR initiatives as needed. 
  • Maintain working knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations. 
  • Willingness to take on other HR projects and duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring 

 

  • Strong experience of shared services in Human Resources  
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to delivery of quality/accurate work products 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues. 
  • The ability to handle and maintain a high-level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information is a must. 
  • Ability to take an assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines. 
  • Ability to assess information, anticipates issues and outcomes, and make effective decisions. 
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems.
