Position Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day HR functions and is the main point of contact for employees. This is not a remote position. Candidates must currently be willing to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote. Therefore, we are only considering candidates who live within a commutable distance from our Corporate Office.Salary Range - $48,717 - $60,896
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for staffing and onboarding of new employees for Corporate and Transportation, including preparation of new hire paperwork.
- Daily employee interaction and floor presence: resolving issues, answering questions and working with employees and managers to encourage a culture of positive employee relations.
- Helps recruiters schedule the screening and supervisor/managers' interviews. Assists HR Manager with managing the internal hiring process.
- Ensures that all policies are implemented and enforced consistently and fairly.
- Provides updates and regular communication to HR manager on building activity and escalates issue in timely manner
- Creates and maintains employee files and ensures all information is held in the strictest confidence.
- Responsible for managing all CJL HR systems for areas of responsibilities including UltPro HRIS and administrative tasks to provide proper and accurate data entry, maintenance, and reporting in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3-5 years of previous HR experience required
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, payroll management system required
- Proven ability to conduct employee training required. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced environment
