Job Description: 
 

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a broad range of expert services including: recruitment and succession planning, employee development and training, employee relations and employment law and policy interpretation. This role will also assist with compensation administration and employee rewards/recognition, as well as regulatory compliance guidance and HR reporting. This role works onsite Monday through Friday at our manufacturing location in Boca Raton, Florida. This role will work between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, however, additional hours (earlier or later) may be required based on the needs to of team and the business. This is not a remote or hybrid-based role. 
 
Responsibilities: 
 

•    Serve as liaison between employees and management.
•    Assisting leaders/managers with performance management initiatives, retention strategies and employee development.
•    Collaborate with talent management teams in recruitment, new hire processing, posts announcements, job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates and other related tasks. 
•    Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
•    Collaborate on the sourcing and recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions
•    Perform planned/impromptu investigations and audits to ensure and/or maintain EEO/AA/OFCC or Federal/State employment law compliance in practice as it related to hiring, training, transfers, or promotions of people assets.
•    Support implementation and sustainment of NCE.
•    Complete additional projects or duties as assigned by the Facility HR Manager. 
 
Requirements: 
 

•    High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or in I/O Psychology preferred.
•    3+ years of professional work as an HR Generalist is required; equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Access/PowerPoint) required. 
•    Must possess a thorough understanding of Federal/State employment laws (e.g., EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, Unemployment Insurance Administration, and Worker’s Compensation).
•    Experience in employee relations, conducting workplace investigations, and managing mediation and/or complaints required. 
•    Must be willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. 
•    Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), follow-up, organizational and stakeholder management skills (ability to influence with integrity). 
•    Must have full flexibility with schedule availability Monday through Friday to be able to work mornings, afternoons and evenings.
