Adapt for Life is looking for a Human Resources Assistant. This is a salary, non-exempt, entry level position. The perfect candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, organizational skills, who understands and values the importance of HR customer service and the drive to learn all things HR related! 


Job Summary: Under supervision, the human resource assistant performs work of moderate difficulty in public human resources and benefits administration and performs related work as assigned. This is a salary non-exempt position. 


 Responsibilities/essential functions:

  1. Assists department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees. 
  2. Assists in administration of the compensation program; helps monitor the performance appraisal process. 
  3. Manage, assign and track BHCOE employee trainings.
  4. Manage, assign and track BHCOE required employee survey’s.
  5. Fully manage expirations.
  6. Processes new hires through onboarding in HRIS. 
  7. Files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures. 
  8. Assists in the exit interview process. 
  9. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed. 
  10. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. 
  11. Helps maintain company organization charts and the employee directory. 
  12. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervision responsibilities.

  

Work Environment: Partially remote position required to attend trainings, and meetings as needed in the corporate office location in Louisville, KY. 



Requirements

Qualifications/Educational Requirements: 


  1. Possession of or working towards a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, or one to two years’ experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience. 
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  3. Dedication to customer service.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Ability to always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
