About the role
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation
- Process documents following established policies and procedures
- Completing employment verifications
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office products
- Assist with answering staff questions via phone and email
- Assist in preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Perform annual employee background checks
- Maintaining Leave of Absence and Separation files
- Download and distribute incoming faxes and documents
- Assists with payroll functions including EVV reports, processing documents, answering employee questions
- Assist with coordinating meetings; takes minutes during meetings
- Maintain electronic filing system
- Support the HR team in assigned project-based work
- Acts as a backup for other HR staff
- Maintains confidentiality of records
- Uphold Company mission and values
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and general database management
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Near acuity and accommodation necessary for checking and copying information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be capable of possessing sensitive and confidential information and to know when to share such information with the appropriate party
- Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and terminology
- Ability to participate in a team environment

Work is performed in a typical office setting or from a home office
