The Hub Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of a distribution hub, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. This role involves leading and developing a team of Warehouse Supervisors and hub employees, overseeing all facility aspects, and collaborating with various departments to meet business objectives. The Hub Manager is a hands-on leader who drives operational excellence, maintains a safe working environment, and ensures the timely and accurate distribution of products. This position also oversees the management of the Parts Cleaning Machine Refurbishment Center and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in hazardous waste management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance
- Serve as the primary leader for all hub safety initiatives, ensuring a culture of safety and accountability among all employees.
- Oversee all hub activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, RCRA, and other environmental and safety requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in hazardous waste facility management, ensuring all hazardous waste operations, including handling, storage, and transportation, meet strict regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions.
- Maintain and update all necessary safety and environmental documentation and records.
Operations and Production
- Direct all aspects of daily hub operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates and comprehensive reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with branch personnel to ensure the accurate and on-time delivery of sales and service supplies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise, minimizing disruptions and maintaining productivity.
- Manage the Parts Cleaning Machine Refurbishment Center, ensuring all refurbishment processes are efficient, meet quality standards, and are completed on schedule.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Warehouse Supervisors and hub employees.
- Provide continuous coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Manage employee schedules, time-off requests, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and goal-setting sessions to support employee development and engagement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
Inventory and Administration
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate records of solvent, drums, absorbent products, machines, equipment, etc.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure data integrity.
- Manage the hub's budget, including tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on production, personnel, safety, and inventory to accounting and management.
- Maintain all corporate records and adhere to all corporate policies and standards related to HR, facility management, and operations.
Collaborative Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between the hub and other departments, including sales, customer service, and corporate leadership.
- Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives to support overall company goals.
- Step in to perform various job functions within the hub as needed to support efficient operations, demonstrating a hands-on leadership style.

Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution warehouse management or relevant operations management is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with hazardous waste facility management is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with DOT and EPA/RCRA, OSHA and FRA regulations, transportation and hazardous waste management is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, with a strong background in team leadership and development.
