ROSEN USA seeks to employ an HSE Coordinator. This role will provide technical HSE expertise to all levels within the organization, interpreting data, identifying hazards, assessing risk and implementing solutions to prevent injury/illness, environmental impact or property damage.

 

The HSE Coordinator will provide support to leadership in communicating HSE goals, programs, and processes. In this role, candidate will utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and support short-term and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • ensure employees receive proper HSE training and oversee internal/external training programs. Training administration may include:  
  • Registering employees for internal or external training.
  • Working with Project Managers to ensure employees meet site specific HSE requirements. 
  • Ensuring employees receive adequate HSE training according to job responsibilities. 
  • Facilitating Emergency Response Team (ERT), emergency drills & required training.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Maintain HSE statistics – Injury/illness and vehicle incident statistics, work hours, etc. 
  • Maintain HSE meeting rosters and meeting minutes.
  • The HSE Coordinator shall ensure satisfactory compliance with client required online management databases. Databases include: ISNetworld, PEC Premier, Avetta/Browz, Veriforce, etc. 
  • Complete HSE questionnaires, update statistics and training records and participate in desktop and field verification audits.
  • Manage D&A Programs: DOT, Non-Dot, DISA, etc. 
  • Schedule drug and alcohol testing and maintain records. 
  • Provide detailed reports and statistical data to clients, as requested.
  • The HSE Coordinator shall support USDOT compliance and driving program to ensure compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and best practices in driving safety.  
  • Ensure compliance with USDOT regulations and driving program.
  • Ensure employees are trained and aware of proper use of PPE.
  • Identify hazardous conditions in the work place and promote safe work practices.
  • Support all departments within the organization to maintain HSE compliance. 
  • Ensure all chemicals used within facilities have updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on file.
  • Ensure all containers that contain hazardous chemicals are labeled and properly stored.
  • Provide statistical HSE updates and reports to HSE manager 
  • The Safety Coordinator must ensure documentation is updated and maintained in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 
  • Injury/Illness Case Management & Workers Compensation Cases  
  • Maintain and Submit OSHA 300 & 300A Logs 
  • Review and evaluate Jobsite Safety Analysis (JSA) with employees and contractors
  • Conduct incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and maintain incident reporting in database 
  • Ensure compliance, employee training and competencies relative to HSE programs (ex. hot work/welding; fall protection; assured grounding, lifts/rigging, tool and equipment inspections, etc.)
  • shall participate in externals supplier audits and internal ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and field verifications. Audits/Inspection shall include:
  • Conduct internal HSE inspections & audits (OSHA, USDOT, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
  • Review completed JSA forms to ensure compliance. 
  • Ensure employees and organization is in compliance with USDOT regulations 
  • Ensure vehicles operate within USDOT guidelines (Vehicle markings and safety equipment) 
  • Support Company 5S Program
  • Complete HSE questionnaires & provide HSE statistical documentation for bid and proposal purposes. 
  • Review contracts for HSE compliance
