The HRIS Talent Management and Learning Systems Product Owner is responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of the organization's talent management and learning systems within the HRIS. This role ensures that these systems effectively support talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.

Overview
The HRIS Talent Management and Learning Systems Product Owner is responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of the organization's talent management and learning systems within the HRIS. This role ensures that these systems effectively support talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
Essential Functions
System Development and Enhancement:
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to define requirements for talent management and learning system enhancements and new functionalities.
- Work closely with IT teams and vendors to develop, test, and deploy system updates and enhancements.
System Administration and Maintenance:
- Manage user access, permissions, and configurations within the talent management and learning systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs for HRIS users on talent management and learning system functionalities.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to system users.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize HRIS data to analyze talent metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support talent management decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between HR and IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding talent management and learning system initiatives.
- Communicate system updates, changes, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent management and learning systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly talent management and learning systems (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors).
- Strong understanding of talent management processes and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree in any field.
EXPERIENCE:
Seven (7) years of experience configuring Workday modules; Learning/Talent configuration required.
EQUIVALENCY:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any field plus (5) years of the required experience will qualify.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
