What You’ll Do

We are seeking a strong HR Talent Program Manager that is a combination of creating and executing organization strategies and lead scaled HR initiatives across the organization and a trusted business partner with a segment of our R&D organization. This role will give you a unique opportunity to report to the Business Partner Leader for the Americas & EMEA. The ideal candidate possesses excellent HR transformation, organization development, project management skills, HR functional knowledge, and a balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence. In this role, you will work with HR Business Partners, HR Center of Excellence, key business stakeholders, and employees.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office three days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

  • Serve as program manager for Samsung’s talent management lifecycle, including, but not limited to: annual performance review cycle, succession & retention planning, internal mobility, rewards & recognition, and top talent programs
  • Provide ongoing support to Samsung's HRBP team as they navigate our various talent management systems & processes, helping to provide modified solutions for team-/function-specific needs that may arise
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to the HR Business Partner Leader and act as a consultant to oversee and accelerate change management projects
  • Drive core people processes efficiently across the organization including workforce planning, performance review, talent management by partnering with leaders, and/or HR business partners
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on the management of organizational development, accelerate, and enable organizational projects
  • Apply a structured approach and methodology for employee-facing changes spanning preparation, communication, management, and reinforcement of changes
  • Be a trusted advisor to the HR Business Partner Leader
  • Stay abreast of market practices and research, and use this to develop/refine productive and retentive norms for hybrid work

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience related to the successful delivery of HRBP, HR transformation, or change management initiatives
  • System thinking and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex issues, develop hypotheses and recommend solutions.
  • Strong HR functional knowledge such as organizational effectiveness, talent management, organizational design, change management, and employee value proposition is preferred
  • Robust excel skills for data analytics, database building, and reporting
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, highly effective at getting things done in a busy environment where the context and priorities are subject to change
  • Savvy communicator who knows how to adjust messages (content and modalities) to meet their stakeholders where they are at
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
