Job Summary: As an HR Systems Analyst at UES, you will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining our HR technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that our HR systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting system issues, and leveraging data to provide valuable insights to inform HR decision-making. The use of the system and other tools to build out a workforce planning and analytics competency, as well as talent acquisition data is a key goal of this new role.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration:·         Manage and administer HRIS (Human Resources Information System), specifically Paycom and other HR related software applications.·         Configure, maintain, and update HR systems to align with business processes and evolving needs.
Data Management:·         Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR data by regularly auditing and cleaning databases, collecting data from multiple sources, scrubbing that data and refining it for use in aggregate data systems and analysis.·         Create and generate HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.·         Run both scheduled and ad hoc reports based on requests from leaders and regularly planned timelines. Meeting deadlines and responsiveness are a key requirement of this role.
Process Improvement:·         Analyze HR processes and identify areas for improvement specific to the processes and management of data in and out of the HR systems and other business tools. ·         Collaborate with HR teams to implement process enhancements and system integrations that streamline reporting, data input, data management, and ultimately data insights and analytics.
Metrics and Presentations:·         Analyze and interpret HR metrics related to turnover and retention to identify trends and patterns within the organization.·         Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, translating complex HR metrics into understandable and impactful insights.
User Support and Training:·         Provide support to HR staff and end-users by troubleshooting system issues and resolving inquiries.·         Develop and deliver training programs and documentation to ensure proficient system usage.
Compliance and Security:·         Ensure HR systems adhere to data privacy regulations and maintain robust security measures.·         Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Vendor Management:·         Collaborate with HR system vendors to implement upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.·         Manage vendor relationships and contracts, maintaining strong and current partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, math, analytics, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience working with HRIS and other HR systems with a general knowledge of HR and people practices that facilitate great insights and ability to create data visualizations and make connections based on knowledge of the field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to create presentations with storytelling aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
