What will you do?
A day in the life of a Human Resources Representative, People Service Center at VF looks a little like this.
The HR Representative, People service center will hold a key role to ensure answers from employees regarding a variety of HR related topics are answered both accurately and consistently.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Responds to a variety of inquiries in a courteous and professional manner through incoming calls, emails, chats, or voicemails.
Understands the case management approach to ensure accurate and timely resolutions are provided to the inquirers.
Documents all inquiries within Workday Help Case management application.
Maintains an effective follow-up process for inquiries referred to Subject Matter Experts for resolution to ensure inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Initiates clear and concise communication with internal and external customers; shares pertinent information while maintaining effective follow-up procedures. Communication may be written or oral.
Educate employees on self-service options available for example, Workday/Workday App/Loop and how to provide navigation support.
Explains benefit, insurance, and retirement coverage along with answering payroll related questions.
Handle sensitive issues with employees with respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Initiates status reports to supervisor or lead when delays occur in responding to inquiries.
Participate in other duties as assigned (unemployment claims, Subpoenas, Wage Statements, etc.)
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-2 years of experience and educational requirement below.
High School education or equivalent experience.
Experience in Customer Service
Familiarity with Workday, Outlook applications
Flexible work hours: Work Shift is 10AM - 7PM EST shift Monday through Friday.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email.)
General understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple task with frequent interruptions in a high volume setting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to be detailed oriented.
Ability to manage time effectively to ensure the timely resolution of cases and assigned projects.

Ability to uncover unspoken needs through effective probing.
Strong aptitude for embracing new technology and the ability to simultaneously leverage multiple systems and resources.

Experience delivering outstanding customer service in a metric-oriented environment.
