About the Team

This hybrid role will be located in one of our US locations (OR, NC, TX) and will report into the HR Ops team. This position will collaborate closely with the global HR team and other key stakeholders to provide support for Qorvo’s HR projects and will be the HR OCM lead for the HRIS implementation.

 

About the Role

In this position, you will lead and be part of a dynamic HR team that helps Qorvo leverage HR technologies and empowers Human Resource Professionals.  You will apply your project management experience and understanding of HR processes/procedures to drive current and future HR initiatives. 

 

What You Will Do

Leveraging your proven success in managing HR projects, you will:

  • Build trusting relationships both internally with team members/relevant stakeholders and externally with customers and partners
  • Serve as the HR OCM lead for the implementation of SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Project manage multiple HR projects that have an impact across functions, including but not limited to M&A, HR Globalization & Waste Elimination, Intern Program, new HR initiatives, HR process improvements, etc. 
  • Proactively manage project milestones and timelines, oversee project development efforts to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and to specification
  • Partner with Functional leaders on development/roll out of project plans for HR strategies and Initiatives
  • Develop and maintain an HR roadmap of overlapping projects and competing resources
  • Align with other parallel programs - help to prioritize and overcome resource contention
  • Serve as a key liaison between the HR team and cross functional partners such as finance and IT when cross collaboration and problem solving is required. 
  • Identify, gather, and analyze data relative to projects/initiatives to provide relevant insights that will drive decision-making.
  • Conduct efficient and effective meetings - keeping things concise and on point
  • Communicate progress effectively to all relevant internal stakeholders including execs, product managers, engineering leads as well as to customer
  • Organize and/or create appropriate program documentation and communications
  • Conduct periodic retrospectives; continuously assess & improve process & tools

 

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline preferred
  • 5 years experience in Project management
  • Proven ability to influence and drive internal customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from "scratch"
  • Excellent communication skills suited to the audience; the ability to convey ideas in written form and the capability to share those ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Project or Smartsheet.
  • High level of partnering, influencing, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Takes action and anticipates situations and solutions. Understands how individual actions impact overall results.
  • Strong follow-through skills and strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete integrity.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize work for maximum efficiency
  • Ability to independently research issues by searching and leveraging extensive vendor support documentation and training materials
  • Passion for continuous improvement and lean principles
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and embrace change, learn new systems and processes
