The ideal candidate will have a background in a fast-paced strategic HR environment specifically within benefits and payroll administration.

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking an HR Operations Associate to serve as an advisor to our business and support our business by developing, implementing, and executing a multitude of HR operational services across a wide variety of HR areas, including (but not limited to) HR Administration, Policies, and Handbooks.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the US and UK business practice in all aspects of HR Operations, including (but not limited to); benefits, time keeping and payroll administration, leave management and communications.
  • Contribute to building RVO Health’s culture by identifying and solving for HR Operational challenges, living out the company’s core values, and building trusting relationships across the business
  • Implement, maintain the integrity of, and inform change to HR policies and practices through continuous interaction with employees and teams
  • Provide a consultative approach that applies HR and business knowledge, precedence, and excellent intuition to diagnose and provide creative HR solutions that align with RVO Health’s people and operational goals
  • Manage early-stage HR Ops inquiries work and monitor overall trends in employee questions, concerns and continually develop the business, escalating to the Sr. Director of HR Operations when required.
  • Working with and providing coaching and guidance to the HR Business Partnering team and employees on all aspects of timekeeping, payroll and benefits administration. 
  • High-quality delivery of HR projects, solutions, and support on both the team-wide and individual level for assigned business teams within RVO Health
  • Contribute successfully to priority projects and initiatives at the HR-wide and business team level
  • Design, implement and administer standard operating procedures, best practices, benefits administration, payroll and compensation
  • Supporting the integrity of data management in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Own all day to day HR Ops mailboxes, communications, slack and  full operational employment cycle up to and including offboarding in HR Ops.
  • Work with RVO HRBP, Compliance, HR and Recruitment teams, to support compliance requirements & global best practices.
  • Develop, update and maintain HR training for employees across all levels.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of Human Resources Operations or other relevant professional experience, with demonstrable progression and growth in scope and performance.
  • 2+ years experience supporting a remote population of employees.
  • ADP WFN payroll and benefits administration
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and remain flexible and change pace with workflow demands.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and employee privacy.
  • Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including: compliance, leaves, onboarding, offboarding, open enrollment, payroll, benefits. 
  • Strong knowledge and application of US employment laws, UK a plus. 
  • Experience working with various levels within a business in an “influence-without-authority” role working as a trusted advisor
  • Self-starter, quick learner with the ability to pivot as priorities change.
  • Strong team player with high bias to action and appetite to improve processes
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend multiple solutions
