HR Generalist - Benefits & Employee Relations

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and payroll backup functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to provide HR support to both employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day employee relations and HR support to employees and managers.
• Conduct investigations and assist with corrective actions and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Administer employee benefits and manage annual Open Enrollment.
• Support 401(k) administration and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers' compensation claims.
• Manage and track required employee training programs.
• Serve as payroll backup and perform weekly payroll audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong employee relations and benefits administration experience.
• Knowledge of leave management and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with HRIS (ADP – Workforce Now, strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting a U.S.-based workforce.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Preferred)

• Experience with 401(k), workers' compensation, and payroll.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification.
