Requisition Summary
Peterbilt is currently seeking an HR Development Manager to join our Human Resources Team to support the plant and division locations.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Manage the Training Management System (TMS) in SuccessFactors
- Conduct Needs Assessments while working with employees and managers
- Design training and leadership development courses
- Facilitate technical training courses related to the Plant
- Facilitate Non-technical and Leadership training courses
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes within the business
- Works with the Training Manager in providing sufficient information to the Leadership Team for nominating employees for the Leadership Programs
- Develop and deliver integrated training solutions utilizing podcasts, webinars, videos, and social media.
- Work on special projects and other HR duties and events as needed
- Incorporate audio-visual technology, web-based computer technology, and client-server technology in training delivery.
- Develop new and innovative technical training presentation tools and formats as necessary
- Coordinate or assist with business events and tours
- Assist with managing the daily functions of the Training Center to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Assist the Training Manager in activities related to Security
Qualifications
- Demonstrated creativity, technical writing and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management, flexibility, enthusiasm, and team orientation
- Ability to communicate with and actively listen to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with the truck manufacturing process
- Experience with Web Based Content Creation Tools
- Experience setting up and operating audio/visual equipment
- Previous group facilitation/classroom and virtual instruction experience
- Four to six years of experience in a training or manufacturing environment, including three to five years utilizing audio-visual and web-based technology in the delivery of e-learning
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a degree in organizational development, human resources, radio TV film communications, education, engineering, or business administration is preferred.
