As an HR Business Partner at Pager, you will be the trusted resource for employee relations, performance management, and for supporting our managers and supervisors. Partnering across the People Team to develop and deliver solutions to leaders and employees to support business objectives and outcomes. You'll work closely with leaders and departments to foster talent growth, cultivate a thriving organizational culture, and drive performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifies, develops, and implements solutions with management that help cultivate a positive culture and fosters a high level of employee trust
- Provides expertise on HR policies, compliance, procedures, and leading conflict resolution and corrective action as required to minimize risk to the company.
- Supports employee advocacy by connecting with employees and leads as well as addresses employee concerns appropriately and promptly
- Manages complex employee relations issues, including conducting timely, objective, and detailed investigations.
- Provides expertise to leaders throughout the whole performance management process; including how to use performance management systems, guidance on goal setting, how to delivery feedback, how to create a development action plans, and guidance on disciplinary actions (e.g., Performance Improvement Plans)
- Champion DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives to foster an inclusive and diverse work environment
- Coaches and develops managers to effectively manage and engage their teams, handle employee issues and employee conflicts
- Identify, develop & facilitate training needs to support tailored development tracks, including individual and leadership development programs
- Drive initiatives related to organizational design, restructuring, talent management, succession planning, and change management to support dynamic business needs and growth
- Leads project work as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience; with expertise in employee relations, performance management, and learning & development
- HR Business Partner experience coaching supervisors, managers, and leaders
- Empathy and experience in delivering “win-win” solutions for both employees and the business
- Broad knowledge of employee relations, workplace investigations, employment laws, federal and state laws/regulations
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
- Strong Employee Relations experience
