Job Description:

   

The HPEFS Deal Manager maintains sales operational systems and processes to provide content, data and information management in support of sales pursuits. Implements and configures sales tools, content management and tracking systems. Develops and manages catalog and web-based content, web pages and other online sources for storing and communicating information for sales and partners. Enters, updates and ensures accuracy of data in sales and client and partner relationship management systems generates regular and ad hoc reports for account teams and leadership. Advises on improvements and enhancements for design of sales systems and tools.

This role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Credit Processes Proactively: Manage and oversee the credit initiation process to ensure smooth transactions and compliance with company standards.

  • Ensure Accurate Pricing: Regularly review and verify pricing details to maintain accuracy and consistency across deals and transactions.

  • Obtain compliant evidence of product excess discount from HP MS & HPE GL

  • Support Deal Flow and Processes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deal flow, ensuring timely and efficient execution of processes.

  • Deliver Accurate Forecasting: Provide precise forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making, leveraging data-driven insights.

  • Consult with GL/HPE/HPI Account Teams: Build and maintain strong alignment with GL, HPE, and HPI account teams to drive cohesive strategies and achieve business objectives.

  • Achieve program targets including volume and profitability

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Typically 6-10 years experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience designing and implementing overall process and tools management and improvement frameworks to support sales operations
  • Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in applying business and sales processes and practices in multiple and varied situations
  • Evaluating and developing forecasts and plans to guide updates, enhancements and deployment of sales tools and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales support architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
