With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing. Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes. BBP flagship products include the 29xx and 39xx series which leverage Broadband Plasma technology to capture a wide range of defects with ultimate sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds needed for inline defect monitoring.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
In this role you will be working on building a Linux cluster into the sub system provisioning the hardware and installing the operating system to enable the ML/AI algorithms to run on the hardware! Your primary responsibilities include leading and driving efforts to prototype groundbreaking computational technologies, optimize cost, computation time and collaborate with peers to transition prototypes to production. Additional job responsibilities include qualification of the technology stack, diagnostics development, improve monitoring, observability, and support critical issues for new and legacy products.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- Experience working with AI/ML training clusters and tools like Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more flavors of Linux: SUSE, Redhat, CentOS, Alma, Ubuntu including experience in System-D, Net boot/PXE, Linux HA.
- Experience with few of listed Configuration Management utilities. (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet etc.)
- Ability to code in Shell and/or Python.or equivalent experience.
- Network interconnect configuration and monitoring experience (e.g., InfiniBand, Ethernet).
- Experience with Server Hardware, GPUs, and knowledge of CUDA.
Prefer Qualifications:
- Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Docker Containers.
- Consistent record in developing visualizations using Prometheus/Grafana stack, Experience with NoSQL Databases.
- Knowledge of Apache/NGINX, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy). Knowledge of PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management
