Housekeeping / Laundry - Courtyard by Marriott

The Harrison Group operates over fifteen hotels and seven restaurants from Ocean City, Maryland, Virginia Beach, Corolla, North Carolina, and Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Housekeeping / Laundry Responsibilities: 

• Performs sorting, treating, washing, drying, folding, and pressing of hotel laundry.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping laundry departmental standards are followed.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted, push carts, reach, stand for long periods, and operate heavy machinery
• Ability to work in laundry room environment with running machinery, detergents, noisy equipment, close proximity of others safely
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
