Responsibilities

This position will support both the Lawrenceville and Duluth campuses.

 

Responsible for planning, coordinating, administration, control, quality improvement, and management of daily operational activities of the Engineering Department. Responsible for writing and maintaining the Statement of Conditions.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Two (2) year technical school graduate, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Seven (7) years of experience in facilities maintenance and plant operation, of which four (4) years must be in a maintenance leadership capacity

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Computer experience to include some experience with CADD.

Demonstrated ability in general areas of structural, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and minor hospital systems and equipment repair.

Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and understand minor construction estimating and material usage.

Knowledge of NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Healthcare Code.

Familiar with JCAHO Statement of Conditions and Environment of Care Standards
