HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER- Days

The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious national distribution client based in Mold, Flintshire. (NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME)

We are looking for professional and reliable drivers for both day work or tramping roles, delivering construction products across the UK.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:

Safely operate Class 1 (CE) vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
Complete curtain-sided trailer deliveries nationwide.
Deliver concrete products to customer sites.
Use EPOD technology to track and obtain proof of delivery.
Ensure compliance with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

What's On Offer?

£16.50 per hour
Day shifts and tramping work available.
Start times between 04:00 and 06:00.
No handball required.
All vehicles are loaded and unloaded by site staff/customers.
Ongoing work with consistent hours.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
Potential for a permanent position with the client.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
