As global demand continues to grow, we are making significant investments to expand capacity across our global supply chain factories.The Capacity Execution Excellence team leads these efforts, accelerating capacity growth while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, and operational focus.
Through its three core workstreams — Fulfillment, Installation, and Qualification — the team delivers the structure, coordination, and execution needed for successful factory expansion.
These workstreams work together to develop and implement standard work and daily management practices that enable consistent, scalable results.
This role offers the opportunity to partner across all elements of the Capacity Execution Excellence team as well as Sourcing, Design Engineering, Quality, NPI, Materials and Construction Partners to lead the high-impact initiative of establishing heavy duty generator assembly capability at our Pensacola Wind factory.
Job Description
Activities include:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of establishing heavy duty generator assembly capability at the Pensacola Wind factory
- Partner across Fulfillment, Installation, and Qualification workstreams to ensure integrated execution of project scope, schedule, and milestones
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sourcing, Design Engineering, Quality, NPI, Materials, Operations, and Construction partners to deliver a successful capability launch
- Own the integrated project plan, including deliverables, dependencies, risks, mitigation actions, and escalation processes
- Ensure execution is delivered with the highest standards for safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence
- Coordinate equipment, facility, process, and production readiness activities to support launch success
- Establish strong governance and communication processes to provide clear visibility to stakeholders and leadership
- Implement standard work and daily management practices that support consistent execution and sustainable results
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, constraints, and cross-functional issues that could impact project delivery
- Lead the qualification and handoff of the new assembly capability to factory operations for stable, scalable production
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- 6 Years of applicable experience in a heavy manufacturing operation
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders
Desired Characteristics:
- 3+ years of turbine engineering and/or manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple project elements simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with individuals in global locations
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong quality orientation
Eligibility Requirement
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
- This position is 100% onsite at our Pensacola, FL site
