What is the position? 
This Health Consultant PM Position will focus on triage and planning of emerging or statutorily driven programs and initiatives where the extent of project support cannot be reasonably estimated. This position must provide agility, flexibility, broad support, commitment to customer satisfaction, responsiveness to contract requirements and proactive qualities.  Situational awareness and quality of cooperation and interaction with client senior leaders will be required as will the ability to handle unexpected events properly and to provide solutions.
 
What will I get to do?  
The PM will provide programmatic consultation to a wide range of VHA healthcare related tasks. Through consultative services in relation to programmatic implementation, assessments, and reports, the contractor will provide direct expert recommendations that support the further development and provision of program management best practices, program implementation, program evaluation, change management implementation, and business processes, standards, and procedures for the various emerging programs aligned with the Priorities of Care and innovations in care and service delivery across the VHA.
 
What qualifications do I need? 

- US Citizen and be able to obtain a public Trust

- Bachleors degree

- 5+ years in Healthcare and Project Management

- Very good communication skills

- 3+ years experience in risk analyst

- Experience managing and consulting on multiple concurrent high priority health system strategic initiatives and planning at national or multi-state health systems

- Experience supporting many organizations simultaneously

What additional characteristics will help me thrive?  

- Masters degree

- PMP Certified

- 7+ years experience in healthcare and project management

- 3+ years expererience with VA Health care

- Experience supporting hospitals

- Experience with issue briefs, high consequence infection response, strategic planning, operating plans (Level 1-3 VHA), health care financial data analytics and reporting,

Compensation

$88,585.15 - $146,170.80

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees. It is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.
