The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
*Other locations within PNC’s footprint such as Cleveland/Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; and Dallas, TX may also be considered.

We seek a leader who will report to the Chief Data Officer. The Enterprise Data Provisioning Group is comprised of multiple work sets that execute against objectives relative to data and tools, project involvement and application ownership:
Application Management and Data Integrity:
Ownership of the Financial/Regulatory Application (SFN) and Data Marts for Earnings, Disclosures and Capital Assessments/CCAR FR Y-14Q/M, in addition to new and ongoing regulatory and LOB activities. The team is responsible for remapping the Financial Applications to Datamarts within ECL. Manages the buildout and execution of controls, data validations, procedures, and change impact analysis to ensure integrity of data provided by Enterprise Data Provisioning.
Data Provisioning:
Serves as the primary point of contact for providing user services by effectively provisioning enterprise-wide data with an emphasis on consistent results and efficient sourcing approaches to meet business demands The team leverages foundational Enterprise Consumption Layer (ECL) to enable data consistency in regulatory sourcing to align with SFN and Axiom, as well as provide a single point of enterprise user consumption.
The team plays a key role in provisioning data for many high priority projects including Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Climate Change, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) section 1071, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Standardization of Collateral, Origination and Auto Data, Climate Change, and General Ledger Redesign/Replacement.
Data Insights (BI Reporting):
Leverages the provisioning of enterprise data to produce visual representations of data to assist with decisioning and insight into current and historical data, trends, and other reporting requirements such as Climate, FDIC and CFPB reporting. The group has created more than 150 new dashboards to satisfy business needs in addition to maintaining existing dashboards and refining as needed.
Preferred Skills:
15+ years experience in large financial services company data architecture and data management and/or financial risk technology systems design & implementation. Advanced technical skills in latest technologies, analytics, and management information systems.
• Ability to inspire, energize and maximize the commercial impact of a large and diverse team of quantitative, technical and risk control professionals.
• Creative problem solver who is able to balance long-term strategy with delivery of near-term practical ‘wins’ with strong initiative, commercial radar, and sense of urgency.
• Ability to effectively communicate up, down and laterally to instill trust, buy-in, and confidence across Executive leadership.
Job Description
- Manages all aspects of organizational data; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for planning, designing and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner.
- Provides senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.
