• Create experiments and tooling to detect and diagnose hardware/firmware/software health issues.
• Interface with external vendors and internal hardware, mechanical, power, thermal, manufacturing, and software engineers to understand system architecture to develop and execute test suites for various architectures.
• Develop test framework for large-scale test automation inside fleet during product development and after mass production.
• Develop and publish updates on resolutions and communicate findings internally.
• Develop visibility through data visualization and implement systemic solutions to hardware health issues.
• Implement remediations across software and hardware stack according to plan, while keeping a thorough procedural record and data log.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform root cause analysis of system failures and isolate the components/failure scenarios while working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive necessary discussion with external and internal teams on test specification and methodologies to improve test quality continuously.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and three years of work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation.
  Requires three years of experience in the following:
• 1. SATA and NVMe storage protocols
• 2. NAND Flash memory
• 3. Performance analysis, validation and qualification of Solid State Drives
• 4. Programming in Python, C, or C++
• 5. Software system design
• 6. Linux and scripting
• 7. Server architecture, components, changing systems configurations, and change impact measurement.
