Hardware Intern (Networking : Data collection, Analysis in Design Validation) - Summer 2024

Juniper Networks System Technologies team (ST) is providing world class hardware engineering design & test services across all Juniper products.
We’re looking for an intern for this summer 2024, to support Hardware DVT team in developing scripts to automate data collection and analysis.  

You’ll have the opportunity to see all the networking products in current Juniper portfolio.

You’ll learn how to configure a router and prepare scripts to collect key data from the router and save in a structured format through Juniper internal tools. Perform key action on data leveraging AI/ML capabilities, with the goal to provide a pass or fail result based on data collection and analysis – with no human interaction.

The application of this work will be in several test and measurement hardware areas, including electrical test and mechanical test.

This is an exciting project just started, fine tuning of the goal will be set at the time of joining as things are changing rapidly. 

Minimum Salary: $47,250.00

Maximum Salary:$72,450.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $47,250.00 and $72,450.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
