We are currently seeking a Hadoop / Big Data Support Lead - REMOTE to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Provide leadership to the team

Collaborate with customer  and offshore team 

Provide technical support for issues including hands-on troubleshooting for L2/L3 issues

Design and develop hadoop applications to analyze data collections

Create data processing frameworks.
Extract data and isolating data clusters.
Test scripts and analyzie the results. Troubleshoot application bugs.
Maintain the security of company data.
Create data tracking programs.
Produce Hadoop development documentation

Understand business requirements and implement solutions accordignly
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those
Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish

Employ comprehensive unit testing process to ensure the delivery meets the business requirements without compromising performance.

Ensure best practices and standards are followed

Understand business logic and implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Deliver on time and with high level quality as per SLA through project life cycle.

Work with users and team members at all level for performance improvement and suggestions

 

Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ Years of Technology experience with focus in the the following areas:

 - Big Data technology / Hadoop 
- Gap Analysis
- Data Analytical Processing

- SQL Programming

 

Nice to Have Skills:

- Analytical Thinking - Data Engineering
- ETL Knowledge

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $71,300 - $158,300 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

 

NOTE - Preference given to candidates in EST and CST Time Zones.
