H&H Project Engineer

Description

Elevation Land Solutions is seeking a Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Design Engineer to assist in analysis and preparing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic models, evaluating results, summarizing results and recommendations, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and developing appropriate documentation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and client expectations while contributing to sustainable infrastructure development.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Interest in drainage or related surface water engineering and/or hydrology and hydraulics and its effects on project outcomes.
• Some professional experience is preferred - internship, or school experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, or related surface water engineering.
• Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience including steady and unsteady modeling, 1D and 2D modeling.
• Some experience or knowledge in      HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, XPSWMM 1D & 2D, ArcGIS or ArcPro, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, or ArcHydro.
• Experience with GIS software and applications in hydraulic engineering a plus!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Required Education / Credentials:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related      field 
• Prefer a Certified EIT or someone who has passed FE exam or already a Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
