Guest Technology Architect

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The primary duty is to design AV system for all Caesars enterprise projects. This person will lead the how and what for technology in all aspects of AV.  This person will also be responsible for product selection, programming, control, and backend of all AV system both new and existing.  They will serve as the supervisor to the entire team, guiding them on install, and support post installation.  They will engage property operations to learn how best to create meaningful cost savings system that meet the standard set forth by the Director of Guest Technology.

 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (May include, but is not limited to the following.)

1. This person must be able to gain extensive knowledge of the physical building they and form positive relationships with the stakeholders
2. This person must be able to program complex AV systems
3. They must be able to design and build complete AV systems
4. They must have a working knowledge of the differences AV technologies used throughout the properties
5. This employee must have an excellent attitude and be excited to support.  They will represent how Caesars treats its employees and vendors by showing a high level of knowledge, coordination, and adaption to ensure quick response and efficiency in accomplishing the goals
6. This person must develop excellent relationships with departments and will be required to know each leader.
7. This person may be required to work a variable schedule depending on the requirements of the project they are supporting
8. Throughout their work day they may also be asked to perform simple technical support duties if needed
   1. Situations may include changes to panel layouts add/deletes new hardware additions, software and firmware upgrade……
9. While this person will be remote they may be called upon to support other properties outside of the area as needed
10. This person must be able to acquire a gaming license and will have access to sensitive areas of the property

 

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms.  They must have an approachable demeanor and be able to interact professionally and have a “here to help” attitude.  They must be efficient in their solutions and quick to respond to requests.  There will be an expectation of expertise in the field and they will gain the knowledge to ensure they remain up to date in their expertise.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

Education: 5 years or more in complex AV system design and programming.  AV certifications are a plus but not necessary.

Experience: 5 years plus creating complete AV designs and 5 years plus programming Crestron Systems

Certificate/License: Ability to acquire a gaming license
