Grounds Maintenance Support

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Wage: Base pay $20

PLUS plowing differential $15 more per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a part-time, seasonal Snow Removal Operator you will be responsible for plowing, shoveling and salting lots for eight Linn Companies maintained properties located in or near Woodbury, Minnesota from 10pm-6am when snowfalls of 2 inches or greater occurs.

• dependable

• able to operate Heavy Equipment (i.e)such as front-end loaders, skid steers, cab tractors, and other similar large equipment)
• clean and valid driver’s license
• ability to be on your feet for an extended amount of time and the ability to lift up to 60lbs of salt bags and snow.
• work night shifts and be flexible and aware of weather conditions for shoveling needs.
• take pride in accessibility and safety for our customers and employees at all needed locations.
• effective communication skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.
• Problem-solving ability with respect to all equipment types required to perform duties listed above.
• Completes assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Works well with co-workers and supervisors.
• Consistently reports to work on time.
• Adheres to Company expectations regarding conduct and appearance as specified in the Employee Handbook.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality

• Demonstrate competent operations of equipment.
• Must have flexible availability on nights, weekends, and Holidays.
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Assist in the basic upkeep and cleaning of company and contracted locations.

Safety:

• Needs to be prepared to work in all types of weather conditions and be in good physical health.
• Complete and maintain all assigned safety trainings.
• Wear clothing and safety equipment appropriate for the job performed.
• Perform preventative equipment checks prior to operating.
• Secure equipment properly when unattended.
